Groups Visits & Venue Hire

Please note we cannot accept bookings on Tuesdays. All booking forms must be received at least 30 days in advance of your visit.

All bookings require a non-refundable 20% deposit - please base this on your expected number of visitors. We only retain provisional bookings for 30 days so your form and deposit must be received within this time to secure your booking.

1.The Suffolk Punch Trust (SPT) is a working stud farm. Please ensure that you have suitable clothing and footwear for countryside conditions. Please note that the site is uneven in places, but we shall do our best to accommodate wheelchairs with helpers if you advise us in advance. We offer golf buggy rides around the farm to people with restricted mobility. A copy of the SPT Health & Safety Policy is available on request. The Group indemnifies the SPT against any claim which may be brought against the SPT arising from or related to the Group’s visit to the site. This indemnity applies only to the extent that the events giving rise to the claim are wholly or partly the result of an action or omission by a member of the Group or someone accompanying the Group at the Group’s request.

2.The Suffolk Punch Trust will make every effort to ensure the safety of all guests, however organisers must ultimately accept responsibility for the welfare and behaviour of all guests within the group. Children must not be left unattended at any time.

3.Deposits made at the time of booking are non-refundable and will not be returned in the event of the organiser cancelling the booking. In the unlikely event of the booking being cancelled by The Suffolk Punch Trust, we will make every effort to rearrange it to an agreed suitable date in the future, although should this not be possible the deposit amount will be refunded in full.

4.Any outstanding payment must be made on arrival, by means of cash, cheque or debit/credit card. Failure to provide valid payment may result in refusal to the site and cancellation of your booking.

5.Fire and safety regulations must be adhered to at all times. Risk assessments are in place to ensure the safety of activities provided by The Suffolk Punch Trust. Emergency evacuations procedures are in place and a copy can be available upon request.

6.Should you have any special requests; we’ll do our best to work with you to fulfil these where possible. Special requests should be discussed with a member of staff prior to booking.

7.The Suffolk Punch Trust Management Team reserve the right to request any person/persons on site to leave due to, but not limited to, unacceptable/inappropriate behaviour, damage to property or illegal activity.

The Suffolk Punch Trust operates a zero-tolerance policy of abusive/disrespectful behaviour towards its staff and volunteers. Any person acting is this way will be removed from the site. All decisions of The Suffolk Punch Trust Management are final, and no correspondence will be entered into under any circumstances.

8.Please note that although we will do our best to honour all aspects of your booking, on occasion we are unable to run certain aspects for various reasons e.g. condition of tracks, illness of animals etc. We will always try and notify you as soon as possible of any such changes to your itinerary.
